Punto Banco Policies and Method
Baccarat Banque Codes
Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the cards, although the 1st number is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of 1 (five plus six = eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).
A additional card can be dealt based on the following rules:
- If the player or banker achieves a total of eight or 9, the two players stand.
- If the gambler has five or lower, he takes a card. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player stays, the house hits on five or less. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The greater of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5 percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you quit the game so be sure to have money around before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pay eight to one but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)
Gambled on properly baccarat banque gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Method
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some common myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future events. Keeping score of previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most familiar and definitely the most accomplished method is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This method is deployed to maximize profits and limit losses.
Start by placing 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the third round. If you win the 3rd bet, add two on the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.
If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial bet followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to squander the second round 5 instances for every favorable run of 4 wagers and in the end, break even.
