Baccarat Policies and Plan

Baccarat Standards

Punto banco is played with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the cards, but the first number is dumped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or banker gets a value of 8 or 9, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stands, the bank takes a card on 5 or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a 5 percent rake. Commission are recorded and cleared out once you quit the table so be sure to still have funds left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pay 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as ties happen lower than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Wagered on properly baccarat provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of accepted myths. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future events. Tracking past results on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and possibly the most successful course of action is the 1-3-2-6 method. This tactic is deployed to maximize profits and limit losses.

Begin by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the third round. Should you win the third bet, deposit two to the four on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the first round followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd bet five times for every successful run of four rounds and in the end, balance the books.
