Punto Banco Rules and Scheme

Punto Banco Principles

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, although the 1st number is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (five plus 6 = eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A third card may be given based on the rules below:

- If the player or banker has a score of eight or nine, both players stay.

- If the gambler has five or less, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stays, the house takes a card on a value lower than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to figure out if the bank holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19:20 (equal cash minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off when you depart the game so make sure you still have funds around before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pay eight to one but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played properly punto banco offers pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of established false impressions. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events yet to happen. Keeping score of past results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most established and definitely the most accomplished plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This tactic is employed to build up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the third round. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the first round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four rounds gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd round five times for each favorable run of four wagers and still are even.
