Baccarat Banque Policies

Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the cards, but the first number is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six equals 11; dump the initial ‘one’).

A third card may be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or bank has a score of 8 or nine, the two players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player holds, the house hits on a value less than five. If the player hits, a table is employed to figure out if the bank stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a five percent rake. Commission are kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have money left over just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games baccarat banque has some accepted misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events about to happen. Keeping track of previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most familiar and possibly the most accomplished course of action is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This technique is employed to maximize profits and minimizing losses.

Start by betting one dollar. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the table, remove 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd round. If you succeed on the third wager, put down 2 to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can give up the 2nd round 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
