Punto Banco Regulations and Scheme

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Principles

Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; drop the 1st ‘one’).

A additional card might be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house gets a value of eight or nine, the two players hold.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stands, the bank takes a card on a total lower than five. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to figure out if the banker stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The bigger of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you depart the game so make sure you still have funds left just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for tie typically pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)

Played correctly baccarat gives generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few established misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future events. Keeping score of previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and almost certainly the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six technique. This method is deployed to build up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will now have 6 on the table, pull off four so you have two on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, add 2 on the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th round.

If you do not win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And success on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all four bets gives you with 12, a take of ten. This means you will be able to give up the second bet five instances for every successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
