Baccarat Banque Standards

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, although the beginning number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (five plus six = eleven; drop the first ‘one’).

A third card will be dealt depending on the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a score of eight or nine, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, she hits. Players otherwise hold.

- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on a total lower than five. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the house stays or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you depart the game so ensure you have cash around before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie normally pay eight to one but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. 8:1)

Played properly punto banco provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of established myths. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events about to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and almost certainly the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is deployed to maximize winnings and limit risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the game table, pull off 4 so you have two on the third round. If you win the 3rd round, deposit two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

Should you do not win on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you with a gain of two. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four bets gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you can give up the 2nd round five times for every favorable streak of four rounds and still experience no loss.
