Punto Banco Rules and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Principles

Baccarat chemin de fer is wagered on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the beginning digit is discarded. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a score of one (5 plus 6 = 11; drop the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house has a total of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player stands, the bank hits on a value lower than 5. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure out if the banker holds or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and paid off when you depart the game so be sure to still have money left before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every ten hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Bet on correctly baccarat gives pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of general false impressions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most accepted and likely the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is used to maximize winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you keep 2 on the 3rd wager. If you come away with a win on the third bet, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the fourth bet.

Should you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to lose the second bet five times for each favorable run of 4 rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
