Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are said to be at their printed value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they simply portray the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the initial digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 and 5 produces a tally of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the player hits, a chart will be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so ensure that you have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pay 8 to one and occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a crazy bet as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are far better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played properly, baccarat offers generally good odds, away from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future events. Monitoring of last outcomes on a chart is definitely a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and almost certainly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-6 technique. This schema is used to increase successes and minimizing risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.

Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are give a value of their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they strictly depict the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven and five will have a total of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card may be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or nine, each gamblers stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie generally pay out eight to one but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties will occur less than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Still, odds are generously better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)

When done properly, baccarat presents pretty good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Tracking of prior conclusions on a chart is a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and almost certainly most successful method is the one-three-two-6 concept. This process is deployed to accentuate payout and reducing risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the four on the table for a value of six on the fourth gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
