Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are of their printed value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they just appear as the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 results in a total of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be given out depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are especially better – 9 to one versus 8 to 1)

Played accurately, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established myths. 1 of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not a predictor of future happenings. Keeping track of prior outcomes on a chart is simply a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-six concept. This method is used to increase payout and reducing risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
