## Punto Banco Rules and Scheme

Baccarat Banque Policies

Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the total of the cards, but the 1st number is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (five plus 6 equals 11; drop the initial ‘one’).

A third card may be given out depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on a value lower than five. If the gambler hits, a table is used to determine if the bank stands or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The better of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19:20 (equal money less a five percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to still have funds around before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur less than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of general myths. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most familiar and likely the most accomplished strategy is the one-three-two-six tactic. This tactic is employed to build up earnings and limit risk.

Start by placing 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the game table for a total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the game table, take away four so you keep two on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the third bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the first round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the 1st two with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And success on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you are able to squander the 2nd round 5 instances for each favorable streak of four bets and in the end, balance the books.
