## Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they simply act as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of 7 … five gives a value of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be given out depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or 9, both gamblers stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie usually pay out 8 to one and sometimes nine to one. (This is a crazy wager as ties will occur lower than one every ten hands. abstain from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are exceedingly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played effectively, baccarat provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future events. Tracking of old outcomes on a chart is a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and probably most successful method is the 1-three-2-six scheme. This tactic is employed to pump up payouts and lowering risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
