Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued less than ten are give a value of their printed value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they only appear as the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of seven and 5 will have a score of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, each players stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Successful bets on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is not a good wager as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. abstain from placing bets on a tie. Regardless odds are emphatically better – 9 to one versus 8 to 1)

When done properly, baccarat presents pretty good odds, aside from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. 1 of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future events. Tracking of prior results on a chart is a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful method is the 1-3-2-six concept. This scheme is deployed to amplify earnings and minimizing risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
